Synopsis

Worldwide plastic production coming from fossil-based sources continues to rise and it contributes to climate change, pollution, and threatens the planet's species. "Plastic Earth" follows the journey of a concerned mother, Janice Overbeck, as she travels the world to find a solution to the plastic crisis. She learns the full story of this problem and uncovers what is happening in the background to solve it. Through a massive amount of time spent with scientists, engineers, researchers, and innovators, Janice gets first-hand insights on how we can get this problem under control.
